LET'S SHARE CREATIVITY...NOT GERMS!
The studio has now reopened and it's a thrill to welcome you back! In order to greet studio guests with the best possible conditions and to support the efforts of our local public health officials, best practices have been put into place to comply with measures suggested by public health. Take a look here to see what you can expect when you visit the studio again!
Cleaning and Sanitation: Events are booked with enough time to ensure a thorough cleaning of the studio in between guest visits. All touched surfaces are cleaned and sanitized after each session, including but not limited to: the washroom, studio table surfaces, chairs, easels, paint water jars, brushes and other art supplies. Painting aprons are sanitized after each use. Soap and hand sanitizers are readily available throughout the studio with one-use paper towels available as well. Guests are encouraged to regularly wash/sanitize their hands throughout their creative time at the studio.
Masks/Wellness: Currently, masks are optional for wear at the Whimsy Studio. It is required however, that if any guest is experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, cold, or flu, they should respect their fellow artists by remaining at home and not attend the studio event. Please contact to discuss your situation. With a minimum 24 hour advanced notice a credit can be arranged. As well, should the instructor be experiencing any of these symptoms, each guest will be contacted via the phone and email information provided at sign-up, and new arrangements will be made for rescheduling.
Food/Drink: For public events, snacks/non-alcoholic drinks have always been a welcome for guests to bring to the studio, however during this time the offer of complimentary coffee/tea/water has been suspended. Guests are encouraged to bring their own non-alcoholic beverages to the studio to enjoy as they paint.
Clean Hands, Clear Minds: Hand sanitizing products are available throughout the studio for guest use. Everyone is encouraged to regularly maintain hand cleanliness as well as use a proper hand washing routine after washroom use.
Additional best-practices are demonstrated in the studio and will be outlined during our times together. Private party guidelines may vary in certain categories. Should you book a private event, your unique party planning details will be arranged for your party plan upon booking.
Thank you for adhering to these guidelines and for respecting your fellow artists!
These thoughtful routines ensure a safe and positive experience for us all.
